Why buy new holy or stained jeans?
I feel really old for thinking this, but i’m only 25. I think it’s moronic to go buy new clothes that already have large holes and yesterday while shopping i saw some already stained a kinda red mud color, as if they had been washed with a clump of red clay. Furthermore a few places on it had brown stained spots…. I guess my question would be why do some ppl find this fashionable. In my middle and high school years ppl that dressed like that were known as scrubs now it’s high fashion???

I never did. I made the holes myself. Do them yourself, run a blade or sharp knife on them then wash them several times. And in my days, they were grunge look.

I actually saw how designers lay a model down, and they take paint & brush and they just splatter paint all over their outfit and they call that FASHION.

Remember, what’s in today is out tomorrow. Make your own fashion and you’re always IN. I never throw away my old clothes, because I’m always in, the following year. I just mix & match.

The perfect chance i missed?
Back home in Ghana (West Africa) when i was walking with my friend we met 2 girls that my friend knows and one of them was a half Lebanon and half Ghanaian she was so beautiful that she looked like a princess when she gave me a smile i couldn’t look at her smile because of her beauty so i had to look at the ground while my friend finish talking to her friend the next day when she was going to school she smiled at me and looked away. I was so shy i couldn’t say hi to her she kept on doing that everyday when she sees me around the area but one thing i notice that she doesn’t say hi to me and she kept on doing that but if it was my Uncle or anybody she would say hi or morning to them but she would not say it to me so one time when i was riding my bike with a friend she was with a boy and when she saw me she me smiling but she thinks i was smiling at her but i wasn’t because my friend was telling me a joke and one of the boys she was with was calling her name Loretta for 3 times but she couldn’t give any response because she kept on looking at me. So the next day i met one of her friends and i told her friends that i liked her when she told Loretta about it she also told her friend that to tell me that if he likes me he should come to my house and say it to me. Drums will take years to get good, if you have talent. The pros still learn and improve after decades.

Learning inline skating is much faster. You should be up and skating in a few days with the basic movement skills. You won’t look out of place and skating is a good, low impact, way go get exercise and tone up the legs, bottom, and waist.

i met this girl 2 years ago. i liked her when i first met her and my feelings became deeper when we started working together. eventually she knew i liked her and tried to like me back but it didn’t work. she got together with her first bf and we stopped talking. but they ended 1 month later and we started talking again like i wasn’t trying to ignore her when she was with her ex. a few months ago, i admitted to her that i still liked her but things just went bad. we barely treated each other like friends and at that point, i gave up and tried to cut ties with her. its been 2 months now since we stopped talking. but we started talking again and it even got to the point where she wanted to be better friends. she got together with another guy last week and she fell for him. now that she is with him, it feels like im hurting and everytime we see each other, i ignore her, not bothering to say "hi" or anything and she wonders why also. so how can i really let my feelings for her go away?

Are BMI calculators an accurate index of something to worry about?
So, I put on quite a lot of weight over Christmas. I’ve never really had weight issues but I’m starting a new job soon and want to make a good impression.

I feel huge, double chin, ughh.

I checked my weight on a BMI calculator, and it was at the upmost range of the "Ideal/Healthy" balance. A point higher and I would be classified as overweight.

Do these things tend to be right and therefore I am not huge, just a little porky, or do they exaggerate what is normal and healthy?

Extra weight due to muscle mass apply to elite/professional level athletes or those who train hard for 300+ minutes a week, not for people who do light exercises a few days a week.

It is already a felony, but I agree with a mandatory sentence, it should be longer than 2 years. I would go for the full 10 years.

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization or local government) commits a federal felony when he:

assists an alien whom he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him to obtain employment,
encourages that alien to remain in the U.S., by referring him to an employer, by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or
knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.
Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.

Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

Recruitment and Employment of Illegal Aliens

Problem is that most employers do check credentials to prevent hiring illegals, but immigration-law violators break other laws. Number One for child-identity theft is illegal aliens. They steal a child’s SSN, submit it to the employer, and that number VERIFIES!

Furthermore, there are even more stringent penalties for not hiring minorities. Employers are coerced into hiring "minorities" and "immigrants" under threat of lawsuits, fines, and worse for "discrimination."

Besides, it is the illegal alien who broke the law to begin with. Fine plus prison, then mandatory deportation with permanent bar to reentry for al illegal aliens who defraud employers into hiring them. In addition to identity theft, etc, charges. Make defrauding the employer a felony, and make them pay the $10,000 fine.

Then those employers who actually do go hire illegals without verifying can pay their own fines, and those employers who are defrauded despite reasonable precautions are protected since those who deceived and defrauded them pay the penalty.

Oh yes, and less than half of all illegal aliens ever "work" - whether under-the-table or using false docs. The majority of illegal aliens are "dependents" or "have alternate means of support" (i.e. crime). So how are you going to get rid of most of the illegals if you just punish employers?

Put the onus on the original criminal - the immigration-law violators.

The Little Princess

cartoon aired in the 80's on the ABC, 3 people lived on a boat and little people lived on the island?
What I can remember was the 3 people on the boat where, an old guy, a youngish bloke in light blue overalls who was a bit of a push over, and a tall skinny woman who wore a red suit and from what i remember her name was Miss Emma,. There boat wasn’t exactly the eco friendly, it had like a pool of oil and rubbish i think all around it..
the little people that where on the island were like little midgets (trolls) one had blue hair and i think his name was cool, who also wore sunglasses, a princess with red hair, an old doctor type guy with the white beard glasses and white top hat.
I remember this being aired in australia in the 80’s but I cant recall the name of the show, if anyone can remember this please let me know cause i would like to try and watch it online if i can.
